"Exercise has always been a part of my life. I've been doing different sports and I also feel that my body really needs that. In my sedentary profession, I can't lose my energy. After a shoulder injury, I started looking for a new challenge last year. And it was Maya,my hairdresser, who told me about Jan and Trui'sapproach. The small scale of Studio Feniks appealed to me enormously. It took some getting used to the non-everyday exercises, but on my first visit to the studio I immediately enthusiastically participated."
You can do it!
"Every lesson Jan has something new in storeforus. So it's not the same exercises that come back all the time. Something you can get faster with other courses. Skipping rope? A whole assignment at first. But thanks to jan's guidance and encouragement, I can now do it and I even enjoy doing it. Lift another kilo? Jan says you can do it ... And then you just do! He pushes you to push your boundaries and you feel that result. The training sessions are very good."
Group feeling and individual guidance
"In the meantime, my daughter is coming too. And although we follow a group training, there is still plenty of room for personal guidance. Jan corrects everyone personally, so that the execution is completely in order. But especially the group feeling is great. It's fun, even though we work very hard. There is some competition among themselves, but in a motivating way. And in between, we tease Jan.
